Waterloo Women’s Field Hockey Club offers umpiring opportunities throughout the year. We are a great place to learn umpiring skills if you are new, as well as further develop your skills if you have umpired before. Waterloo Women’s Field Hockey Club is required to provide one referee for every game we play in both indoor and outdoor seasons. Umpires are paid $35-$50 per game they umpire throughout the season.
CERTIFICATION
The umpire certification program is developed and owned by Field Hockey Canada (FHC). Training and certification are managed and delivered by the provincial association. To find the rules for field hockey Ontario click here.
